EXPERIENCE

Elder Research, Inc.
Vice President, Strategy & Transformation

October 2023 - March 2025

Led Analytics Strategy and Transformation consulting services for leading data science consultancy, delivering analytics strategy and change management services that drive adoption and business value.

  • Led newly launched automations program for a global consumer packaged goods company using machine learning and AI solutions to automate processes across R&D, sales, finance, and operations that delivered more than 100,000 hours of business capacity (hours saved). Implemented new rapid assessment process, PMO structure, OKRs, metrics, and scorecards as part of change process to operationalize and streamline analytics delivery.

  • Built and managed Automations team that included business analysts, data scientists, data engineers, full-stack developers, and UI/UX designers. The team executed more than 40 projects in just over 12 months, delivering double the business capacity gains in one-third of the time compared to the company’s prior RPA-based automation program.

  • Served as change consultant in a proof-of-concept program for Microsoft Copilot AI solution. Organized cross-functional core team, developed change plan to support rollout and adoption, created scorecards and user adoption metrics, and served as D&A liaison to the Model and AI Risk Committee. The program averaged 70% monthly active usage, surpassing industry benchmarks and prompting executive team to extend the program for another year.

  • Created and led project team for sales forecasting process redesign and a custom web app integrated with existing machine learning model. The redesigned process and data integration is projected to result in a 65% reduction in total hours spent on the process across more than 50 employees, improved accuracy within the 1% target variance range, and better explainability of forecasts. Deliverables also included product roadmap, scorecards, detailed change management and communications plan to drive user adoption and behavioral change.

  • Served in a change/transformation advisory role to the Data and Analytics Office (DAO) leadership team. Working collaboratively with the team, developed a draft of a new DAO operating model and organized a 4-day Design Sprint to redesign the project intake process to improve execution and to better align project prioritization funding and business impact.
